When you are viewing your video on YT, make sure to check the default resolution gear icon at the lower right of the player. Half the time mine default to 480 even on HD video.

I have been watching your post for many days, hoping for a reply to your question . I too have many hi res pics that I would love to try in a 4k project. But I don’t have a 4k tv yet.
I keep checking and hoping for a response to this post.

You will have to re-render your project. Just save it under a new name?

  • And have you had this problem in the past with the same computer. If yes, than maybe replacing your rig might be the answer.

    David,
Grazie is simply using the hard drives that are connected directly to the sata ports on the motherboard in his computer. Thats all you have to do, and should do.

  • Hello,
It sounds as if you are new to computers? Do you own the computer? Do you own a retail version of Movie Studio? Is it registered to you? Computers don’t come with Movie Studio installed, you or someone had to install it on your computer. If you don’t own Movie Studio software, you won’t be able to reinstall it. You would have to purchase the software again, before you could reinstall it.

  • Wow…36 hours….something got screwed up in your render. I’m afraid you’re going to have to shut down your pc. The only thing that will get corrupted would be your rendered file.

To shut down your pc with just the keyboard do this:
Press the Windows key and release…….now press the right arrow key once……..now hit enter.

Is your bios set up to do an instant shut down when you press the start button? If it is, go into your bios at another time, and change it to power off after 4 seconds. I’m sure you have already made up your mind to change the setting to turn off the display……I physically shut down the display if I feel like it sometimes.
