Hi I recently posted an issue with rendering on vegas 14. A kind gentleman Graham Bernard suggested that I have a very early build – I only purchased the software 8 months ago – and suggested updating the build.
I confess I am not greatly technically gifted but generally manage to continue film making and audio recording.
Sorry to appear stupid but how do I obtain the latest build – apologies for what might seem a rather basic question but better safe than sorry. Advice greatly appreciated and how does one return reply to a specific post i.e. Graham?
    Thank you in anticipation.

    Hi Brian

    Just go to:

    https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/downloads/

and download your version of Vegas 14 ( Edit, Suite, etc…) The latest version is usually the one available.

After saving your presets, add-ons, plug-ins, etc… (if you have any) it is always better to completely uninstall instead of ”crushing” a newer version on an older one. Make sure that you have all your serial #s handy.

Back when Sony was running the show, you could pick and choose which version you wanted.

Hi Francois and thank you so much for the message. Just one query would I be right in assuming that the veg file in my C drive will not be deleted when I uninstall the program?
    very grateful
