Sorry I didn’t post this properly, Im trying to create a tornado made of cash. There will be sections where I will have text where I am hope the camera which I want to follow the twister can slow down using time remapping so you can read the text in a sort of slow mo effect. then fly off to the next text section. Im having trouble getting the camera to stay looking into the center of the tornado. I created a null object that the camera is parented to, what am I not doing so the camera will look the way I want it?

I have not done a pref trash I will try that and no it does not find it automatically or with the new path. Thank you for offering me your advice.

Thanks, that has been done I have come to the conclusion that the firewire port might be damaged on the camera. I can get my P2 footage through USB 2.0 but as we all know I can digitize on FCP through USB 2.0 so it seems I have to get this camera repaired.

Still no progress any other suggestions please? I installed all relevant software from the Panasonic P2 site and it still doesnt register on my desktop even in tape mode FCP can not see the camera.

Thanks by SD card do you mean like an AJA Box? I am new to the game and I am working on a small budget. I use a macbook pro 17′ and I have no output monitor at the moment.

my footage is SD, I have a Small plasma I wanted to hook up as a monitor but I dont know how, I am pretty new to the editing game.
