The CP200 panels do not work with Resolve, only the new Resolve panels or other third party panels like the Wave or Element from Tangent or the Avid Artist panel, etc.
I think the Resolve Linux license runs on Red Hat and it can use the legacy 2K+ panels but only if you had a previous Resolve license.

September 27, 2012 at 1:41 pm in reply to: Force GUI to right monitor when using two displaysIn Monitor preferences on the Mac you can drag the top menu bar to any monitor you want and that will become the primary monitor. You could open preferences quickly from the menu bar before running either app and put the menu bar on the screen you want as primary to make Resolve layout the way you want.

Better camera? I think it is very difficult to fix completely but there is a plugin for Final Cut that is relatively effective with color patterning (https://colorbyjorg.wordpress.com/plugins/) however if you are trying to fix big pattern issues like brick walls or clothing I think it’s near impossible.

September 6, 2012 at 12:53 am in reply to: External Monitor Calibration – Best workflowYeah what JPO said.
I would recommend at least a X-Rite Hubble with Light-Space, Cine-Space or the new Cal-Man studio for a proper calibration and LUT creation. Especially if you are thinking about wider gamut color spaces than REC709.

August 30, 2012 at 5:43 pm in reply to: UltraScope and Thunderbolt / Sonnet xMac Mini Server?I am currently running it on a Mac-Pro with a Decklink HD card as 4:2:2 but I am planning to pick up a UltraStudio 3D for my 17″ Macbook Pro to try out 444 scopes.
According to Mike at Divergent Scopebox is resolution independent and V3 will scope full 444 signals.

Have you looked at Scopebox on a Mini with a Ultrastudio 3D Thunderbolt? allows for 444 2K scopes and no PCIe needed. I sold my Ultrascope and setup a scopebox machine instead with a Decklink card.

The two file formats look very similar on paper were the DNxHD files created in camera or converted?
