  • Resolve + SUSE Linux + CP200 – possible?

Posted by Marcin Mikołajczyk on October 10, 2012 at 5:56 pm

    Hi,
I’m switching from another CC system to DaVinci Resolve.

I have few components i.e. Z800 with quadro card and raid over FC, SuSE Linux and CP-200 panels.

Want to ask if it’s possible to use tangent panels and this linux? I can switch to windows instead of linux but i don’t think that’s gonna be more stable then.

    Any advices?

    Regards Marcin

The CP200 panels do not work with Resolve, only the new Resolve panels or other third party panels like the Wave or Element from Tangent or the Avid Artist panel, etc.

I think the Resolve Linux license runs on Red Hat and it can use the legacy 2K+ panels but only if you had a previous Resolve license.
