I installed the Lite version on my 15″ Unibody 5,1 with the 9600GT GPU. I get about 8 fps playback on SD material… thinking about a 17″ I wonder if a new thunderbolt would be better overall than a last gen 17″ with the nVidia GT330M?

Resolve will be automatically converted to XFCP and you will get a teddy bear and a pacifier to help you work….

I think there are converters for display port to mini display port I wonder if the Apple LED Cinema Display is 10-bits? I have one and a HD-Link Display port maybe I will try to find an adapter and try it.

I have been running the basic Decklink HD-Sdi card for monitoring and have had no problems, hoping the Decklink 4K will work in the future.

Right now you will need to get a Blackmagic card, many people are using the basic Decklink HD-Sdi card for monitoring. Otherwise you should be ok to run but consider a CUDA capable nVidia card is you want the best performance possible. The Wave just plugs in and there is a setting in Resolve to use it.

5D to RGB is pretty decent to if you want to convert outside of Reslove.

I am looking forward to the DL 4K card and I hope it is a good one. I prefer just SDI I/O and taking care of things like SDI to Hdmi on a display box like the HD-Link.
