  • Clip playback speed question

    Hi

How do you change the playback speed of clips in Resolve? I saw a short blurb on it in the manual but can not for the life of me figure out how to do it. I want to playback a DPX sequence at 3sec./frame for a monitor calibration using Lightspace.

    Hi Rob,

In the config page try setting playback frame rate to 0.33333.

I had a lot of system lockups with 0.33333 though and had better luck with setting it at 0.25, so each patch lasts 4 seconds.

Let me know how it goes.

Ok so it is an overall timeline playback and not per clip to make it work, thanks!!

    Hi Rob,

If you want to do it per clip go to the conform page, right click on the clip you need to change and click change clip speed. This will allow you to change the FPS of the clip.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Rob,

[Robert Houllahan] ” I want to playback a DPX sequence at 3sec./frame for a monitor calibration using Lightspace.”

Which is a result? Was it succeeded to synchronize?
