June 15, 2011 at 5:53 pmCheck out page 93 of the manual:
You may find that clips come in a file format that DaVinci Resolve does not play natively in the timeline. The Format Conversion pop-up allows you to change the file type. Simply select the clip within the Clip Details display, right mouse click and select Format Conversion. In the new window select the Target format for the clip and ‘Start Conversion’
There is a setting for converting to DPX

I would also go with Resolve.

June 15, 2011 at 9:24 pmDrop em all into resolve, make DPX to folders, make prores from that and tell them to use those for editing

June 15, 2011 at 9:51 pmAdd all the files to the master session, and then render in source mode to DPX. You can choose to render to another resolution if you like. (Just change the Timeline resolution on the config page)

June 16, 2011 at 8:09 amIt makes it even more simple.
Just render “one pass” in render mode as dpx and “second pass” as prorez etc.
You only have to make separate master folder for each format i assume.
