Yes John I was looking for how to add a custom texture to the face. It was staring at me in the manual:

It’s possibleto add more textures to this menu by placing them in the correct directory on your hard drive. The directoriesfor the Texture Files menu graphics are as follows ; [C:Program FilesBoris FX, IncBCC Presets 7CustomTextures or C:Program Files (x86)Boris FX, IncBCC Presets 7Custom Textures…if you are on 64bit OS].
