A parametric EQ would be of more help. Try “sweeping” for the correct frequency by setting the Q to 1 the gain to 20 and “sweeping ” the center frequency to find the offending noise. Turn the main volume lower as this will make it loud. When the offending noise is loudest turn the gain to -20 and move the Q up to taste. This should remove a great deal of the noise in the audio track.

Ok, first off, are you monitoring discrete channels that were already mixed in surround? if you are then you need a sound card that supports at least 6 outputs. Then you need a speaker set-up for monitoring 5.1. Not a consumer set up. A consumer set-up expects to see an AC3 encoded stream. You need direct outs sent directly to each speaker. If you want you can contact me directly and we can go over you workflow, but I need to know what exactly it is that you are monitoring.

I have always ordered them from Markertek. They are thicker than

I think Ty put it best. You are dealing with two different issues here. The first dealing with room reflections, which is what foam is utilized for. The foam is broadband absorption to take care of early room reflections and flutter echo. The process of stopping inter-room sound transmission is a much harder and more expensive problem to solve. The biggest issue is with low frequency vibration, which can and does move through solid objects easily. The best way to deal with that is multiple layers coupled with areas of isolation. If this seems like a big undertaking, it may be. It depends on the level of sound transmission that you are looking to stop. You may want to try in steps. Good point, Bob. Very well put. But I think the comparisons are flying around because the IOHD and the V3HD are firewire devices
and the Eclipse is a PCIE based device. But I agree with you that the Eclipse is very exciting and I can’t wait to start on those rounds of testing.Thanks,

You might try to combine the files into one folder as a pack and then compress into a .zip file then the user can download all at once. There is not really any audio merge software other than compression software.
