    hi sir,

    still nothing..i even uninstalled/reinstalled vegas… mp4 codec is enabled in libavcodec…but still nothing..

    i then downloaded gspot..and compared the results from the problematic pc with that of my laptop.. my laptop says its only missing an ac3filter..but everything seems to be playing fine from what i notice…

    on the other hand, here are the results from the desktop:

    i removed the previously installed codec pack..then installed the FFMpeg codec on the pc..audio track on mp4 file still wont show on vegas, only the video track..

    tried another codec pack, the one named codec pack (advance) from cnet, still the same..audio track absent in vegas but mp4 plays video and audio in vlc/wmp/qt…

    Im having the same problem too..im new to using Vegas pro 8, i moved from premiere because vegas certainly is faster, but there are some things, such as this that’s a little bit harder to do..

    The only work around i can think of is opening a blank/transparent landscape oriented file in photoshop then placing the vertical image on it and finally saving the file as png with the transparency..I dont really like to use track motion because it applies the 3d effect on the entire track and i dont want to move the stills on separate tracks because theres just too many of it..
