You can get a 2009 lustre for around 30k, a 2010 nucoda for around 40k.
Anything older/cheaper would be worse than building a macpro based davinci.

After exporting the stills as Jpegs and re importing with the Drx in to r9 the stills and drxs come in as seperate files and do not allow me to click in them to apply grade info. Am I importing them wrong?

Thats fine, I can re track things/dynamics.

So I can just do export stills from R10 and then import them in to R9 and it will ontain the grade info?

Sorry Jake, I didn’t mean to upset you.

My mistake, I meant the GTX 285 is not a supported CUDA card in Mavericks.
That being the case, I figured it was causing the crash in Resolve.

It doesn’t looks like I’ll be getting any useful information on this. Back to Mountain Lion.

I thought the GTX 285 was not, but the 120 is? No?

    Where is this toggle?

I went to use Remote and Local grades, neither turns on the red arrows that shows linked clips?

Thanks. That’s pretty much the way I’ve thought of it. Now if bl and resolve cost the same what would people choose with the elitist element removed 🙂

Also, can it render to prores? I know BL can read PR. Not sure if it can write.

Trust me I know it’s all about the artist but if resolve can do everything baselight can then what is filmlights justification for the higher price point? I don’t see anything on the filmlight website that has any distinction other then price.

After doing some more googling I found this, https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/2/1023414
Same issue, except I’m not using a dreamcolor, but a similar HP monitor.
Doesn’t seem to be a fix though.

If I were to feed the problem monitor an HDMI signal from the BMD card would I be able to use it as a separate monitor as well as having my client plasma work as an output monitor?
