Many thanks. I was looking around and someone posted that they had the same problem when they upgraded the driver from the NVidia update screen that came up. I went to a site that has all the old drivers, found the right one for my system and installed it. That solved the problem!

That was the way it was set up. Then, I added the stories to play sections of the track, and at that point, the Play all button stopped working, so I wonder if the two things are connected. By the way, on the stories menu, before the three stories I created it put another marker which seems to correspond with the beginning of track. Do you think if I eliminated that one it would work?

Tape was shot 15 years ago by someone else. Apparently consumer cameras come from the factory set up to 32. I tried following the Ken Stone advice on doing a custom capture preset, but when I copy a preset and try to change the parameters, everything is greyed out.

I’m afraid that I didn’t express my question well. I do not want to sharpen in camera, but am not sure if there is a general rule of how much sharpening to apply in FCP.

If I do that, which video setting do I use? Video CD Super Video CD, DVD-Video, Video_TS Folder, or DiX Disc?

They are not on a network. Any other ideas or suggestions?

No, since I am not using the machines at the same time, I assumed that it was OK to use the same serial number. Is that a problem?

What can you tell me about how to decide which set of frequencies to buy? IKt looks like there are several differnt choices for the G2.
