DVD and DVD-ROM on same disc
How do I record/copy DVD (movie) content and DVD-ROM (text files, etc.) to the same DVD disc? Is this a software or hardware issue?

The easiest way would be to use a disc mastering program such as Roxio Toast which would allow you to put the video_ts content along side any other files you wanted to include.

If I do that, which video setting do I use? Video CD Super Video CD, DVD-Video, Video_TS Folder, or DiX Disc?

Video TS folder I would guess.
