I apologise for my second language to lead you misunderstand my meaning. The point is Vegas does poor performance on rendering the project if you compare with Adobe. I should say Vegas supplies a high efficent tool on editing the clips but it often drives me crazy when I render the project as video files. For example, the incorrect color, flick of black screen or something else….. These artifacts appear in the output files occasionally no matter how it looks perfectly in pre-view windows. That’s why I only import & export the AAF files in Vegas to do editing work and leave rendering job to the others. It seems far away from the original topic.

  • The default setting is 8-bit just because it requires a weak hardware to work.
Believe me if you guys tried to improve the scenes by adding several Video FXs, such as color corrector, 32-bit works more perfectly than 8 bit because the former one contains more data after calculation.
If you guys still do not believe, then try to import an MPEG clip and render it as WMV. Then you will see how 32 full range works more perfectly than the 8 bit!

That’s not ur fault of camera. That’s the totally fault of terrible de-interlaced effect of vegas. It also exists in Vegas 11! The worst thing is u cannot disable the stupid blend effect in anyway!
So the only way to solve this is that modify the project properties and leave the field order as interlaced as ur source is.

I test it in Vegas11. It does not work on shape weirdly. The only way to change the shape is using the template.
