thanks… instead of turning it off completely I was choosing options within therefore not completely being able to make it stop. Thank you both for your advice!

What I did was go to FILE and then RENDER AS, picked MPEG-2, a file name and let it rip. I ended up a with a template file, an NTSC file and a PAL file. I’ve subsequently deleted the PAL file. The template file is 313mb and the NTSC file is 194mb.
What would happen if I deleted these files and tried to re-render?
Any advice would be helpful. I’m stumped here and I need to get the project burned to disc asap.
