Again, thank you for taking the time with all of this.
Where do I find th eNewBlue transitions?
-
Yes, I meant the crystalizing effect.
Here are a couple of screen shots from what I see in your videos:

It’s definitely more visible in the 4k clip
I barely see it at all in the 1080 clip

Hey George,
Thanks for taking the time to post the renderings.
I had to wait until YouTube finished processing the 4k clips to view them, but it appears you’re having the same issues with the Blinds/Spin transitions in 4k (very grainy and pixlated)
The 1080 clips all look fine
I just updated my GPU drivers and tried again, but I still have the same issue

I had VLC before and it pretty much took over my computer lol
Not as simple or smooth as WMP Classic and I couldn’t stand all the orange cones on my screen
Never heard of potplayer though.
Here are a couple of renderings in Pro15 from another car show on Sunday
MPEG2 1080-60i

Magix AVC 4k 2160-50fps
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kz8SkJeDQ5w
Same issues with transitions ????

OK, I tried rendering as an MXF file, but it wouldn’t open using Windows Media Classic (it asked to setup WMP, which I refuse to use)
So I tried rendering in Magix ProRes HQ50p and it appears to be stuck at 100% render (for like the last 10 minutes)

Gunna restart and try again

Yes, I’m actually cutting another right now in mxf

Ok, now I’m really lost
Using Pro15, I rendered today’s footage and photos and basically had the same issues I had with Pro12
Here’s an MPEG2 1080 version (smooth transitions)

And here’s a Magix 4k version (crappy transitions)

OK, just loaded it up and it’s build 177 (Pro 15)
It shows various new codecs that Pro12 didn’t have (including Magix and XAVC)
Gunna try a render and see what happens

Pro12/Build 394-64 Bit
My cousin has Pro15, so I’m gunna try the same file later tonight

Where do I find that?
I have the following listed:
Main Concept AVC/AAC
Sony AVC/MVC
Sony MXF
Sony MXF HDCAM
XDCAM EX
