Works fine in Premiere. I load in the files in Vegas and just move the audio to match the video. It’s a nuisance, but it works.

Actually, it included 2 CD-Roms. One was just manuals but the other had PHOTOfunSTUDIO 8.5 and SILKYPIX Developer Studio. Since I have Photoshop I didn’t install these. Do you think I should?

CD Rom contained manuals only, but that’s a good idea. I’ll check the Panasonic website and see if they have something. Sounds like a Codec issue. Would you agree?

It happens with every file I import in to Vegas from the GH3…everytime.

  • I’m having the exact same problem. The attributes show 38 minutes long but my actual file is only 7 minutes long. I can drag the video file to match the audio file – but it’s a pain in the rear. I just posted a similar question.

GeForce GTX 560 – Does Not work – Vegas won’t even load with this card in.
NVIDIA Quadro 600 – Vegas will load with this card in.
Any rendering with GPU acceleration hangs 1/2 way through.

    Rendering 1920 x 1080 main concept MP4
With GPU acceleration enabled in preferences – 8:58
GPU Acceleration OFF in preferences – 5:04

i7 quad core 3.5 ghz, 32 gig ram,

GPU Acceleration slows down render with Quadro 600 card.

Wow, that is a big difference. Thanks so much for your response.
So do I have to get a $700 graphics card like yours?
It would be great if I could find out what cards actually work.

If I have an i7, 32 gigs of RAM, Windows 7 pro and an SSD – do I even need to worry about GPU processing?

Does anybody out there know what graphics cards DO with with Vegas 11 with GPU Acceleration turned on?

I’m using GTX 560 and it DOES NOT work. Won’t even let me open the program. Stalls at “initializing GPU accelerated video processing.” I had to pull out card and use motherboard VGA.
