Why not a mini-webcast or a mini web series. Like the mini-series on TV? You can pretty make up whatever name you want, which it sounds like TWIT did with their netcast term. Or a five part web series.

Been in business for 13 years…would not charge the client extra for this. There would be setup time etc, plus the edit and music licensing, but no charge for the footage that the client already paid to shoot the first time around. It is their’s to use as they need and cutting a TV :30 is in that category.
$20,000 for footage they already paid $40,000 for? Hardly.

Do you have Toast 11 or 12 with the BluRay plugin? You could try using the Toast default setting and burn a disc that way and see if the skipping or freezes stop.

Sounds like you could also use a Par light used in staging to be able to focus the beam.

When does it freeze? When you make the BluRay and play it in a player or the encoded file freezes? Does it always freeze in the same spot?
Try moving the source file to another drive and encode to a second drive.
Odd one for sure!
