Ok … I’ve tried some more things with no success.

1. Uninstall and reinstall, and reboot.
2. “Restore default settings”
3. Uninstall, clear out everything from the folder, and reinstall in a different folder.
4. Added the subfolders back in using the “Manage” tool.

It is definitely the latest version (3.0.4.1) on XP Pro SP3.

But the subfolders are just not appearing.

I’d welcome any suggestions you have, as this is a function I use a lot when creating new libraries.

I’m pretty sure it is – the subfolders were there the previous time I used this same installation of PI3 (3.0.4.1 5Jan2009) on XP.

Thanks … the Random Start Frame won’t work for me, because I want to choose which word appears in each screen location.

I think I will have to create three emitters, which I was hoping to avoid because it means editing 3 lots of parameters if I want to make a change.

Yes, I’m using fullscreen mode. Turning erase on and off adds some possibilities as well. Hiding the pointer is a dilemma because it makes it difficult to see were you’re drawing but it is better without a visible cursor.

I use VJing software called REsolume, which in its latest version uses OpenGL for rendering, and I wonder if it might be possible to develop an FFGL (Freeframe OpenGL) plugin to display PI emitters within that environment? That would be pretty awesome.
