March 19, 2014 at 5:45 pm in reply to: 1920×1080 BMPs rendering with non-square pixel aspect ratio – how to reset to 1:1?OK Cheers. They display in Windows Explorer as square images, but After Effects is able to deal with it.
Cheers

June 9, 2012 at 12:43 pm in reply to: Particle Illusion – New Version Coming Any time?I was also wondering how the underlying engine might develop.
Maybe a text engine?
Also integrated browsing\searching rather than having to run Particle View, and being able to search through all emitters without having to enter search terms. Similarly, would also be useful to be able to tag emitters, and also add to Favourites.

June 3, 2011 at 6:09 pm in reply to: Why do some emitters reset and others don’t in ParticleView?Hi …
Thanks – that does make sense. It seems that Particle View ignores the mouse held down and resets anyway.
I wonder if the reset will also be triggered in a SuperEmitter where the only parameter graph is in the emitter not the superemitter. WIll try this later!

I’d be interested to know if a new version is likely to be forthcoming or not?

December 1, 2009 at 4:51 pm in reply to: Emitter Libraries have disappeared from “Quick Load”All of the above except that Windows XP updates and new applications have been installed in the meantime, so I guess one of those has broken PI3 … I guess it happens.
Thanks anyway

December 1, 2009 at 4:03 pm in reply to: Emitter Libraries have disappeared from “Quick Load”The folders in question have always had .il3 files in them.
Why would they not show if they have emitter libraries in them? I thought that was the point of creating emitter library folders? What would I be quick loading if the folders contain no .il3 emitter libraries?
Not sure I follow …
Thanks

December 1, 2009 at 3:35 pm in reply to: Emitter Libraries have disappeared from “Quick Load”Thanks for your note.
The folders in question are located in the default folder “(\Emitter Libraries”) in the PI3 installation folder as specified.
By the folders being “gone” – they are no longer appearing inside PI3, but they are located in the Emitter Libraries folder where they have always been.
Even if I create a new folder (in Windows) in the Emitter Libraries folder, then put a library inside it, then quit and reload PI3, it doesn’t appear in “Quick Load”
Here are a couple of screengrabs
1. My Emitters Library folder
2. What appears when I click on “Quick Load”Thanks

December 1, 2009 at 12:37 pm in reply to: Emitter Libraries have disappeared from “Quick Load”Sorry – I wasn’t clear.
I have never created any folders inside PI3 – I always did it in Windows. In the “Manage” tool, I tried including the extra folders as new paths, but they did not show up in the Quick Load menu.
And anyways, the folders were visible before, and have now disappeared.
