That’s my guess. On a mac, open Activity Monitor, and see what’s happening. If the “Swap Used” starts to grow, then it’s a computer issue, and you’ll need more RAM. Try uploading the file to the Cow, Vimeo, or YouTube and see what happens on playback. Each of those sites has a flip factory that will convert the video into many formats. In that way, you can tell if your file itself is corrupt, or if your computer is slow.
Keyframe distance, that’s what I meant.
