they do kind of look hand drawn, but it may also just have a cartoony glow. I bet if you drew a stroke, roughedn the edges, added some turbulant displacement, and mimic the cartoony glow, it would be possible. Or maybe with a fractal noise, such as the lightning tutorials for photoshop users. dont have a link. The hard part is the timing

Join the club. I have to move my place in the timeline, make sure the keyframes are selected and then move back. An extra step that would never be needed if they didnt change the colors from bright yellow to dark blue. stupid stupid stupid idea.

Seems lie it would be a simple matter of duplicating the footage, creating a matte for the brightness and put it on top of the original.

Is the ship above the cars or above the mountain? Hard to tell depth wise as there is as much haze on the ship as there are in the mountains far behind it. It looks like it was photoshopped because it looks as if the ship is completely still, with no method of propulsion or distortion effects in the slightest. Don’t know if the blur is draft or real, but it looks terrible. Fast blur is not the way to go here.

Im not sure why they did this. But it seems like in the newer versions of after effects you can no longer parent a light to a null and zero it out. Instead you have to copy the positions xyz, paste it into the light position, then parent it. Im not going crazy am i? You used to be able to parent then hit 0,0,0.

check out dafont.com lots of good fonts for what you need. I had one in mind, but its cursive and probably won’t help you.

You could parent the position and dived /2 or you can move one from 0-100 in 3 seconds. and another from 0-200 in 3 seconds.

I used to get it a lot when i started off. Now it never happens ever. Maybe its because i work in 29.97 fps.

its either your video card or a downloaded copy of after effects. forget raytracing in after effects. the slowest, most useless thing about after effects.
