thats an expensive plugin just to make a non realistic waving flag…it just looks like a displacement map (or Glass) with the wave world effect…

Well…you could just use the shatter effect on the footage at the same time the footage of glass is being shattered.. OR you could even try using the luma matte of the shatter in the displacement map. and then set the displacement at llike 100. this doesnt actually do much, but it kinda works…Or if you have element 3d you could definitely do this using voronoi shatter..but it takes some practice to make it look good

the downsized one is clearly sharper!…if your comp is 1920×1080 then the size of your images should be 1920×1080 …wait…are you zooming in on the render or is that just the full size.

go to a stock footage site and look at videos of crowd cheering motion graphics…its a blur of motion and camera flashes. look at inspiration before you work…every time

Saber is a 2d effect and 3d stroke is a 3d effect. Ive gotten saber to work with element 3d by tracking the 2d saber onto 3d footage but saber cannot be rotated without turning flat so its probably wishful thinking. Unless your camera is static. at which point you could just apply the same path to both saber and the stroke…so you might be able to do it that way…pre compose and then animate a camera.

clearly..since you only need your eyes and mouth and they dont even need to be from the same shot…is to have something hold your head in place. even placing it on a hard surface would help. ..OR just use the warp stabilizer with no movement..warp stabilizer is in its own window under TRACKER

And if you open the scanned image in Photoshop is it clear or blurry? 600DPi..so that means the images are huge right. And so how big is your composition. How far did you scale down or up the images in the composition? Sometimes going too big is not the right answer. Sometimes going smaller can get better results. try making a sample selection smaller in photoshop and export that in after effects and see if you get better results. ..and of course also render to a png sequence to make sure its just not a video compression problem

What are you all talking about…the links he gave us are fake..spam…bs links…so what are you all talking about

  • well..for this remember to right click on a vertex and set as first vertex ..do this both beofre and after it transforms so that it stays the same…but another way would be to make an ocagon shape then animate the # of its sides
