you want to creat 1080 rows…each 1 pixel of height…wow…there is no way after effects will be able to keep up with that..unless its a plugin..you wont even be able to see more than about 300 rows..after that it just looks like scan lines…maybe card dance can do it..i cant think of much else…ohh except for element 3d…actually yes it would work there but you prbably could only get a max of 100 rows in element

a easy trick i like to do is to create a drop shadow opactiy 100 with a distance of 0 and a softness of somewhere below 100…then duplicate the shadow and set the softness to 0…duplicate that shadow 8 more times and it becomes a stroke

You have never used after effects much have you?…its really simple, just put the video in there as you would normally..videos and picutres…doenst matter..then delete the original sources….as in rename the folder the sources are in..thats it…or pre comp..but ill keep it simple

are you sure you didnt open up a different version of after effects…or maybe it instanced after effects while updating…so it allowed you to work on a copy …but you always have had the option to open up 2 different version of AE at the same time…it just doesnt work very well

yes that is kinda normal…it brings out the poor lighting of the scene as the colors clash..you can get around this by tinting the footage any color and then rotating the hue..i think…

before y’all jump[ to his defense, realize he posted 2 different videos but both have the exact same intro animation. so why on earth would you post both of them?..And then asks us how to make it, when really we cant tell what he is talking about

the problem you have is that you are trying to use it on the footage without having to cut out the actor…which is not going to work…try using mocah…just look for the mocha effect and apply it. go to mocha,,,trace out your guy for 5 seconds..and then use the puppet tool once you are back in after effects

i mean it adds another step but just just create a solid with a ramp and use it as a luma matte for the adjustment layer
