This feels like a super simple thing that’s boggling my mind right now. But how do you re-create Photoshop’s White-Shows, Black-Hides opacity ramp on an adjustment layer?

I have an adjustment layer with a ton of effects on it, and I want to just draw a white/black gradient on it to determine how it blends into the bottom layers.

Sorry, this feels like something super basic and I cant believe I cant figure it out. Thank you.

i mean it adds another step but just just create a solid with a ramp and use it as a luma matte for the adjustment layer
