  • my company puts real people into digital sets all the time. sometimes it looks better than others and I think i have narrowed down why.

1..Angles of the feet – they need to somewhat match your scene…this is probably obvious to most..but not to our video department. If you shoot at a high angle make sure your scene is set up as such.

    2. placement and rotation. there is a script we use so make sure the actor is always facing the camera so no matter where the camera goes, the actor never distorts..Also make sure your actor is where they need to be by using all 4 views..make sure those feet are on the ground or close..

3.. shadows and reflections…without a shadow it looks like they are floating. and shadows are hard..try using a real light to cast shadows on a place..or vc reflect is pretty good…you just might have to animate the position

i remember this problem. You need to right click on a vertex and mask and shape path- set first vertex…i forgot everything after that..but im prettty sure there wasnt much more to it than that

  • timewarp has its onw motion blur effect are you using that? How long is your video. if its too long that could be the problem…

  • well you would think that there is a plugin for that and maybe there is…but maybe just render to a png sequence and import the images not as a sequence…but have them all be 1 frame and then keyframe assistant to line them all up. and delete the ones you dont want…its not perfect but i cant think of another way

thats a very specific template that no one has ever heard of or used before…Good luck…Loser!

  • why dont you put it in a composition with a frame rate of 2 frames a second or something like that…I dont know what you are trying to do..but the only thing i can imagine is this…

why dont you try animating a solid mass ..,maybe with a rough edges on for distribution of the( cc ball action )that we will put on top of this…which i think will work better on an adjustment layer…or you can animate the twist properties as well. or both.

first of all…render to a png sequence first if you have not already…2nd..make sure you have a background layer otherwise i have noticed it likes to take cached files and distribute them randomly on alpha information..thats all i got…Oh well there is one more thing and that is making sure the original start of your camera layer is at the beginning of the comp…this is surprisingly important with element 3d…maybe it translates over

You are really trying to rotobrush a square? you would be done in 12 seconds with mocha…the one that comes with after effects
