Maybe we are all wrong and this is the future: Think avatar,rise of planet of the apes. All it needs are realike images.

Maybe films in the future could be made like music using loops.

Yes I am aware of the price difference. But I understand that the GH2 does not output sound through hdmi. I think that the ninja is a great value but the other offers quite a a few extras that seem hard to ignore.

yes besides it has hdmi output,down hardware converter but the downside is:

Considering that with the pix you don’t need an external audio recoreder nor dual eyes the proce difference is negligible except that Frame rate is limited and does not use regular hd just cards and ssd.

You can always dual boot on a mac so whats the problem? And you have the same stability and continuity just like the mac world.

I am looking at the gh2 it looks pretty awsome for the price.
But I need to decide between capturing hdmi with a ninja or transcoding the hacked video to edit in win ppcs5.5 or avid mc 5.5
Which do you think is better .

I can’t find anything in a/e that says color finnese. I just see various color correction tools whihc I have opened but nothing calles “Finnese” nor asking for s/n/.

I am in the process of purchasing a gh2. This hdmi thing has increased my eagerness to purchase.(Temporarly not avilable from BH)

You are saying that I can record from the hdmi signal but not with the blackmagic device, am I correct?

So if I record with a nano or ninja what bit rate and resolution will I get?

Do you think that their could be another firmware that would disable this hidden feature like they disabled the follow focus?
