  • What do we need for a simple studio?

Posted by Tim Mar on July 11, 2011 at 6:15 pm

    Hi!

We are curious what we need for a simple but fully equipped studio for live videobroadcasting, like lights, camera’s, infrastructure and more. We want to keep the studio light and simple but with a professional output. We don’t know the ins and outs of the broadcastingworld and therefore search for help here.

Do you know what or who we need?

    Thanks

You need a consultant or an integrator to help you spec, design, and build the studio. You might try the JOBS Offered – Higher Pay forum [link].

You may be able to get some referrals here if you describe a bit more about your project — what sort of work you intend to do with the studio, your approximate budget range, and your location.

    Tim –
    this is like asking –
“we want to get our toilets working – we went to Home Depot, and saw the toilets, but how do we get them to work” – answer – HIRE A PLUMBER.

    or

“we want to setup all of our computers in a network – how do we do this ?” – easy – hire a network engineer or consultant.

    or –
“how do we build a TV studio, and what do we need to buy ?”
    another easy answer –
YOU HAVE TO PAY MONEY FOR QUALIFIED PEOPLE to do this for you. You can’t just read “how to build a TV studio for Dummies” and build a TV studio. Of course, if you have ever installed your own toilet, and tied it into your city water supply, then I have completely underestimated your abilities, and maybe you can do this by yourself.

Your city has countless dealers that build TV studios, and will be thrilled to sell you all the equipment, and set it up for you – AND CHARGE YOU FOR IT. Just like you can’t drill out your own teeth when you get a toothache, you can’t build your own TV studio, from reading two paragraphs in a reply from Creative Cow.

    HIRE SOMEONE – SPEND MONEY.
