Since that failed and I cannot find a way to edit or delete my previous post I try again.
This is what I did to get my internal microphone on the imac to work.
Took me a couple of hours to troubleshoot this since I had audio in other programs from this source.
If you did not “allow” premiere to access microphone when you installed it, chances are that you need to check a box in the system preferences.

Thanks but what is the point of having the opacity option on the mask if it does the same thing as the opacity for the whole layer?

I will post a video instead that explains what I am asking.
As already said I created 2 solids and put a mask on the top one.
When I set the mask to add, the opacity value fades the blue box instead of the content inside the mask.

Thanks, it will probably work.
Is it also possible to make settings to a track that will effect everything
that is on that specific track?
It would make it easier for me, or is it possible to add new clips to a existing “nest”
in an easy way?
