What? You mean Vegas cannot create a DVD on it’s own? I need an additional program? And I have to render two different files in Vegas first?

Wow…that’s doesn’t seem too cool to me!

Right now I am using Cyberlink PD 7 and it renders directly to DVD?

What am I missing about Vegas?

I’m VERY new at animation and 3D programming in general.

What do you mean by “animate the tag’s offset parameter”?

    I followed your instructions:

Drop them into your MAXON/Cinema 4D/Library/Objects floder so you can have them inside the app in the “Object Library”.

Although I do not have the MAXON folder. My path is actually:
    C:/Program Files/Cinema 4D R10/library/object
Note it’s “object” and not “objects”…

Restart C4D and Objects>Object Library is Empty!

I am on Vista 64 bit w/C4D 64 bit if that matters

Yes, I have seen those on TS. I may have to pop for one of their models.

    Thanks,

    Wow….nice answer Joe…

Just to be clear, I am a newbie at both video editing and 3D animation. I do have a little experience in 2D animation. I have volunteered to video a local pee-wee football team throughout the upcoming season.

There are about 6-7 kids on the team whose fathers are deployed in Iraq. I thought it would be cool if they could either receive DVD’s of their kids games or watch it on the internet. For the 3D animation, I was thinking of that Monday Night Football graphic of the 2 teams helmets crashing together. I thought that would be pretty cool for the kids.

Anyway, I will be using Cinema 4D for the 3D work. I am having a hard time finding a decent 3D model of a football helmet. I’m running short on time and learning to model one myself would probably take me quite awhile. I’m also obviously low budget here and looking for a 3d model donation! lol…..

For the video, I’m using Cyberlink PowerDirector 7.

    Sorry for rambling…..

    Thanks for the response.

Interesting…I have not tried Vegas yet. I am evaluating PowerDirector
right now. The video clips I have on the camera hard drive are .MTS files. I treat the camera hard drive like any other USB drive, I drag and drop the files onto my PC.

I’m still confused about .m2ts and what that file extension means as I have not seen those on my camera yet. (Sony HDR-SR11).
