    Hmm.. yeah. My motherboard is an Asus P5WD2-Premium and the only Asus on the compatibility list is the P5B. So I guess thats the issue?!

    I’ve seen this problem before. Im pretty sure it has something to do with your graphics card / drivers or with the DirectShow-settings. My friend has the same problem when he streams online video. I would recommend updating to your latest gfx-card drivers, reinstalling DirectShow and maybe going through the settings. It might have something to do with overlay or hardware acceleration – but then again – im just shooting in the dark here, but may be worth a try…

    RS-422 could just as well be used in studio work – as i plan on doing! It would be hooked up on an extra channel on our EVS controller… IF it had RS-422 that is…. In my world firewire is more or less dead…

    I think you need After Effects mate. Check out http://www.videocopilot.net or http://www.maltaannon.com. They’ve done some tutorials on extracting data from audio-tracks for use in effects. You might be able to use them!

    Thanks – still im finding it quite odd that there isn’t an easier way to raise volume. Im a Liquid-migrator an back then i would just right click and enter gain X-dbs. Anyone?
