  • Oh right! Thanks Walter!

I can’t post screenshots this time but basically I’m doing some relatively simple animation for a company, where I used a camera to move about some 2d layers. I wanted to collect groups of these layers into precomps but back in the main comp they were becoming distorted because the focus of the shot was now in a different position relative to the camera. Wow cool idea Thanks! But won’t having pictures of particles overload the graphics card like crazy?

Is there any other thing you can think of?

I was using my MPEG videos in AE perfectly fine until today.
When I import it, the the Project Panel it recognizes that there is audio and it’s quality and specs, but when I drag the MPEG video into the timeline, the Waveform shows up blank.
I’ve tried everything I can think of.
    What could the problem be?
    Thank you!

    Hey Dave,
Thanks for that, that’s a cool idea. I ended up just doing it with Motion Tile and mirroring the edges but if I have time to go back, I will try your way. I’d prefer the feather. Thanks

    On a similar note,
I accidentally imported the same PNG twice and used them a few times each throughout the projects. I want to delete one (PNG 1) and have the other one (PNG 2) cover the holes it leaves. How do I replace all the instances of PNG 1 with PNG 2?

    Hey Kevin,
Thanks but I’m trying to get the end of the clip to fade into the beginning as it loops. Your instructions would result in it fading out and then fading back in.

Any way to do it the other way around? Copying a Shape Path to into a mask path?
