    Hey Tyler, I did download the Boris AAF thing yesterday and got my temp license key, so I am using it.
    It is awesome! It actually works!

    The only finicky thing i see is that since the files are from the Canon 5D that does not create randomly generated filenames, when importing them into FCP – FCP bumps up the increment because the capture scratch is in the same location when the batch import was done.
    So I have to go in and click clip by clip – referring to a record i have of the new FCP names.
    It’s mind numbing – BUT way better than redoing the work over again!
    Thanks so much for this!

    Hi there,
    the tutorial and videos look pretty simple with the new MC5.

    I am in the same situation – – – the project is deadline driven. BUT instead of having new software, I am working off FCP 6.06 and MC 4.02
    BUT i have automatic duck 4.04.

    After trying to export the AAF using automatic duck in different ways, I am unable to relink the files back in avid.
    The MXF that automatic duck creates, avid tells me that it needs to be quarantined.
    Has anyone encountered this before? OR what’s the best solution going from FCP 6.06 to AVID MC 4.02?
    Thanks =(

    Weird, I also just had the same problem.
    But I did a save as and it didnt work.
    I copied the bins over to a new project and saved, it also didn’t work.
    There is a corrupt bin that makes it now want to make new sequences

    So I had to copy over the bin, one at a time while testing to see if I can make new sequences.

    Weird.
