I was actually pretty shocked and upset by Mark’s response. I typically don’t like to be patronized and made fool of but i wasn’t going to say anything. I maybe thought it was a standard practice to treat people like that on this forum.

I plugged in only the hard drive I needed for the project I was working on and then in sharing permissions I checked off “apply to enclosed contents” and that fixed everything.

I am sorry but neither of those options worked.

I dont get it because when I pull in 5d footage it looks just fine, if I pull in 720p footage first before anything else it snaps to that format accordingly but if I copy and paste sections of my sequence from my other edit. It stretches out the video.

I try adjusting the sequence settings but that doesn’t do any good either.

Ok so I was able to load the data back onto the P2 cards using the USB option and then tried “repair” in the menu but the repair option wasn’t highlighted as an option for those damaged clips.

I was still able to completely view the audio and video of the damaged clips in the Log and Transfer window though. I really don’t understand what the problem is.

Do you happen to have a link to the appropriate version? I searched for it on my own, downloaded and installed and it kept crashing. Maybe I found the wrong one or an old one….

I changed the camera to USB mode and it doesn’t mount on my computer after that as it does in 1394 with a firewire.

I searched through the forums and really didn’t find anything to help me out.

I dont mean to be a pain in the ass but I am really trying hard here.

I tried dragging contents back onto the P2 and that doesnt work, I also tried copying and pasting, nothing.

I dont see much online about this procedure except using P2CM…but we know I have issues already with that program.

Anyone have any links to something more concrete?

Is there a tutorial on how to reload onto P2 cards and repair? I have never done this before.

Ok so I downloaded version 1.4.9 of P2CM and whenever I try and ingest my data the program just crashes.

I am able to see there is a big blue exclimation point on the same clips though, just like in FCP.

any help?
