I am still unsure what it is.
Restart-same, no lensI have 15 saves ,discovered it works in first 1st and 2nd save file. but not the 3rd and after- but this was all modeling stages.
Not an answer but could be a clue?
The only difference between saves 2 and 3 that are different is an added Environment with sky.

Quik peek at that deformer looked interesting.
Do some nice text effects with that.
For any future viewers I discovered a way.
To wrap text without Mograph.
Make your spline
Make a text spline for each letter.
Select all letters and go to functions, arrange.
Mode: along Spline
Drag your spline into first line spline.arranges letters onto spline.
kept seeing refers to illustrator to make a path with text.
So I guess you could use AI to make a text wrap spline then put into c4d and extrude. -
well, I am new to c4d and learning it.
I am really unsure, but look at your caps and settings on the extrude nurb.
also look at your texture material projection type. -
oh man what a simple one, now why dint I think of that…?
The complexity of it all, can hide the simple things.

well, to add to it, if you open a material- go to texture, then add a layer. click on the new layer and this will get you to your layer-shaders for layering. then you can add-screen-multiply the added
images,layers or shaders.I am also trying to get the hang of layering/materials in C4.

that looks as if it is for shockwave also.
I am still hoping to maybe figure out a way.
My hopes are not up on the animations (never know), but the models
I am sure I can get them in it, 1 way or another.I got 3ds 2011 demo, but It appears as though the w3d plugin for 3ds
only works with like versions 5-8 or something.(blah)I keep having convo’s with a couple other people saying it can be done.
(but not how)I got a few more ideas and need to experiment.As far as importing exporting to C4d- in format-not a chance.
But, I am leaning toward that I can get them into C4 in a roundabout way.I will post more when I learn more. Any added info/replies is appreciated.

Well I have looked and looked.
after some more digging I have again found it- after asking.
It is in astro of attributes
Have to select the object from a twirl down (ie Sun, mercury,pluto)
and tick/untick Show
Quite hidden actually.

I just recently repaired windows, and being my system is quite old.
it reverted back to drivers. My updated graphics card(though now old also) was having n4 lockup.Updating the drivers for nvidia card seems to have been the problem.
