OK – the other image link you gave out looked pretty rough. That’s why I suggested redoing the image. Is each cord highlighted as it is played in the video?

Looks like a bad scan, or a low res png enlarged. My advice would be to start from scratch in photoshop and import the changes from chord to chord – each as a separate layer over the ‘strings’ layer.

My advice would be to find a shooter with good equipment. You edit his weddings and he shoots yours. It’s the best way to grow a wedding business.

The viewfinder on my 350 is very accurate especially when you crank up the peeking.

OK, I guess that’s what I needed to hear! Thanks

How accurate are you finding your focuses to be using only the viewfinder?

It’s too long and out of sequence. There’s no apparent story-line. Repetitive scenes. It was interesting to you but not interesting to us – a good edit creates that interest. So put a spin on it and re-edit. Like, how why you chose that design or why it happened there and at that time. Rethink the music choice. Write a script or throw some titles on the footage. A lower third with the artist’s name would be nice. Even repetitive scenes can be worked to your advantage “When the hell is this ever going to get done!” Find the story and you have found the edit… I hope that helps.

OK, not to SOUND horrible, myself. Perhaps, we can all suggest ways to improve your edit. My first suggestion is to find a story. Write a script for VO. OK? “My first tatto…” etc.

Good editing is about making good choices. This is not good editing, if you want an honest critique. If you are serious about getting better – no one is going to help you by lying. It was horrible.

    https://www.centerforsocialmedia.org/resources/fair_use/

Us that link and print out the pdf. Have your client read it – the key is this: is the use in a parody or in a commercial using a parody?

  • Try converting to a png-24 file with transparency – Vegas likes png’s.
