Given your ‘lighting’ equipment – your best bet is to shoot it outside on a hazy day.

If you have all the proxies and the edl, it’s not a matter of exporting buy simply opening the edl in Vegas.

I think the edl file and proxies have to be in the same directory. Does that help?

Hmmm – Vegas should open the edl.txt file – really just a simplified and universal ‘veg’ file.

You should be able to open the EDL in Vegas and drag that to the timeline.
Vegas will read the text file and order the clips.

Here’s the simple approach as long as have everything captured already. Lay the movie on the timeline, ungroup, slide audio until in sync, regroup, start cutting!

For title work in DV/ DVD start with a canvas of 720×534 pixels and a transparent background – remember your safe areas. Save as png 24 with transparency.
