I’ve heard people saying using colorbars (I’m probably looking like a real newbie here) Who do you use colorbars???

Nice suggestions, thanx. My stuff is B2B and I’m going for more of the corporate look. I’ve got a white background and on the left side, I’ve got several blue squares with multiply so they show through and a drop shadow and they are moving around (I also use these squares for the backdrop for behind the actor and smaller version in the lower third. The books come in out of a rotation and oversized fairly fast. The books segment is at the very end for the power close after the testimonials and the MC. Informercial style kinda…

Just wanted to spice it up a little.

You need to check out his tutorials then, he’s got a product that has blood splatter and tells you how to do it…pretty cool stuff. His products are reasonably priced.

Yeah, after a full day of total frustration, I said to hell with it and modeled it in max and I was off and running. Invig works great for some things, but forget the reflections. The whole camera thing was too much.

Some good stuff, but they don’t talk about working AE to Encore. Is there any way AE files are imported into Encore without having to render them?

Andrew Kramer has some great tutorials for doing just that.

good luck on that. That’s really the way you’ll get any kind of financial bump anyway. (I’m a headhunter by trade) Are you working for the largest television station in your area?

What’s wrong with rendering uncompressed? I tried the animation preset before and I didn’t like it, so, now I render video for windows lossless and they come out perfect, large, but perfect.

Haha, that’s funny. Interviewed at your company for a higher position or elsewhere?

I have it checked…I think it’s in the assigning the audio device. I have a pro audio board and it usually isn’t recognized.

I have to say, I’ve received advice from you in the past, and you are ALWAYS right on. I hope your boss realizes what an asset you are. Thanks again for turning my project into a masterpiece!
