I have a video clip rendered from AE at lossless for windows video setting…looks great. (about 80 gigs) and then after making a DVD with encore, the skintones turned yellowish. Is there a specific translation setting I should put encore on or should I correct this in AE beforehand. If so, I’m not an expert at color correction, how can I tone down the yellows?

Is it yellow after watching it on a TV? If so, your monitor is probably not calibrated correctly. If you don’t have a True Color or Broadcast monitor, than you can get your computer monitor fairly close by using color bars.

I’ve heard people saying using colorbars (I’m probably looking like a real newbie here) Who do you use colorbars???

I found that if I hit “autocolor” it made it look a lot better. Is this for more inexperienced users?
