    Hi Rick,

The Sennheiser 421 seems like a good choice. I’ll check out the price with B&H.
    Thanks again.

    Rick,

My DVD is going to be used for home & Commercial use.
Thanks for asking because that’s very important.

    Hi Rick,

I want to stay in the price range of around $200 for a decent Mic. It won’t be used everyday, only when I need to do V/O. If I need to bump up the price a little, I’ll do it.

    Thanks,

October 13, 2007 at 3:58 pm in reply to: LP Mode Question

    Hi Doug,

I have a Canon GL2 and never record in LP (ONLY in SP). When bringing my footage into Vegas I had the same problem. This was after I had my GL2 sent to Canon for a check up and a good cleaning for $100. After viewing these post and learning from other videographers experiences, never use your good camcorder for downloading your footage into your computer. I bought a cheap Canon Z100 from Sam’s club and now my pixilation problem is gone. Less wear on the heads. So, Canon GL2 for capturing and Canon Z100 for downloading.
    I hope this helps.

    Hi Guys,

What if you render avi first in Vegas and then bring it into DVD archictect for the finish result. Let DVD architect tell you if it needs to be compressed or not.

    Hi Teecee,

I’m not here to advertise for anyone, but my first and last computer was a Dell and I’m tired of getting tech support from another country. I tried this company in Denver called tasty computer and talked to Russell the owner. Check out the web site https://tastycomputers.com/
So far I’m happy with the product.

    Good Luck!
