I just downloaded it from YouTube, converted it to a .mov and imported it. If I convert to .wav 16 bit 48K, it should get rid of the static?

Actually I have it, and have gone through the FCP tutorial and learned a lot. But for example, say I want to replicate the lighting here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvf43K7JlF4, the glowing flashes, what effect would work best? I can’t figure it out. There are lots of things that while I can see conceptually I need someone to walk me through. Get it?

How thanks, that worked. Do you have a link to the precise book? There are like 15 FCP training books that have similar titles.
