Ronn,
I’ve tweaked a preset I downloaded from Sorenson Exchange by Coby Rich to make it Interlaced for you.
Just double-click the file and install it in the default location. You’ll find it when you open up Sorenson in the Favourites tab.
I set the Audio to 44, but you can easily change it to 48.
Also, tweak any other settings you want.
Let us know if it works for you.

ps. I used the original preset to encode my reel and got much better results than using any other encoder (i.e. Compressor, Streamclip). Have a look (shameless plug!)

What’s the source spec and destination spec you want and I’ll see if there’s a preset already made.

As Job has detailed perfectly, the H.264 Gamma Shift if pretty famous and very annoying. It’s more prevalent with files created on a PC as well.
And the MainConcept H.264 encoder that is in Squeeze 7 upwards is really a thing of beauty. Stunning and no real Gamma Shift (or at least not really noticable)…

Hey Alan, I actually gave him 4 Emitters (as a Project file) hence the large file. He got it it seems.

It’s great because it’s real-time. Though it stopped working for me on the Mac around v4 I think, and I haven’t tried it for a while on a PC. But you do have in already in BCC Composite as has been mentioned, which is much more powerful.

There’s a Damaged TV effect in BCC (that ships with Avid) that you can use as a transition.
