Menu misalignment

I am using PI 3.0 on a Mac (OSX 10.6.8) and I have been having some problems with drop-down menus being misaligned (along with a host of other error problems, but the menu thing is my immediate problem) I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this and if so, were you able to fix it and how. I have tried everything including re-installing the software.
I will try my best and describe what occurs. I have also (hopefully) attached two screen shots of what is happening. Basically, like for example, whenever I want to insert a background image I will right-click on the layer and go to ‘Background image’, but what pops up is a message saying ‘Delete this layer?’ which is the menu option just above the Background Image option. Similarly the options above Delete Layer like ‘New Layer’ and ‘Duplicate Layer’ do absolutely nothing whenever I try those options.
This occurs whether I use the mouse or the Wacom pen to right-click as well and I have no other problems like this with any other program.
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated 🙁

I’m sure there must be a patch update to 3.0. You should download that and see if it fixes your issue.

That’s true — this was an issue in older versions but was fixed in one of the updates. (Thanks for the reminder about this Ra-ey)
