    Hey Mylenium.
    This is great!
I have only played around with it a bit, but it

    Thanks, Rutger.
This was helpful, as I have not really used expressions before and it’s great to start.
However, the range is very limited when scaling the object using the Audio Amplitude. I guess it

    Thanks for responding, Don.
No, I don’t have DVDSP… and I understand that it’s quite expensive. My budget is very slim. Any other options?
I’m assuming that I can’t just burn the MPEG2 on a DVD and pop it in the the player? In that scenario, I could use the player’s looping feature to loop the movie…

Thanks. My work-around solution, in line with what you’re saying, is to hook up a pair of self-powered speakers to the ADVC110 audio out, and listen that way. I appreciate your info.
    Best regards…

    THANK YOU!
Thought I was losing my mind…
So is there no way to hear the audio while looking at incoming TV in the log and capture window?

    Hi,
Yes, in the audio section of the Clip Settings tab I tried everything (capturing audio only and aud+vid) and also checked sound settings on my machine before I posted this question. Also tried all the different Audio formats in the Clip Settings tab.

However, I do not see a specific

Thanks David. I see from Jerry’s response that I should use Compressor and unify everything to make things smoother, which seems to be your advice as well. I asked him a couple of follow up questions. Feel free to chime in with other tips or suggestions.
    Much appreciated.

Thanks Jerry. So I guess Compressor can convert all these different files.
    Including frame rates and scaling?
Is the best size for FCP 720×486?
Would there be any advantage to doing the scaling + rendering in AfterEffects instead of Compressor (especially if I have the original AE project)? Or would Compressor do the best job?
Still confused why FCP seemed to scale the 640×480 clip all around in the canvas window, while the 720×480 clip was not scaled vertically. In other words, the 2 clips next to each other in the timeline, both 480 pix high, appeared as different pixel heights, even after rendering. Any idea why?
    Your help is really appreciated.
