    Hi,
I’d like to morph one word between 2 different fonts.
Do I create the word (individual letters – one per layer) as outlines in Illustrator in each font and then import them into AE? What next?

Do I need the same number of points on the path for each letter of each font, so that a morph between the 2 paths can occur correctly?

What would be the best way to make a smooth and elegant (not real fast) transformation?

If you have version 6.5, you can convert your text to Outlines and then use Smartmask to do the morphing. It’s not easy to get a nice morph – expect a lot of trial and error.

Seems like this video doesn’t exist anymore! Well… it’s 8 years old!
However, I’d like to do this morphing between 2 fonts. Any idea how to do this? (I’m using cs5.5)
