  • I was able to check my test reels in a cinema today.
The DCP converted with Adobe looks washed out. After applying gamma adjustment (Color Finesse Gamma 0.8) it gets a bit closer to what it should be …
    Where am I going wrong?

I am experiencing the same problem. I was using Open DCP and now trying the Adobe workflow while checking the results with EasyDCP. The picture seems brighter than when converted with EasyDCP.
The source is ProresHQ, corrected in Rec 709.
I set project settings to none, 16bit and only apply Color conversion effect going from Rec709 to DCDM relative colorimetric and then export to j2c.

  • Measuring color values with Digital Color Meter in Photoshop and Easy DCP player.

Ah, too bad to hear that. :(((
I really hope there is an update coming soon. I usually get tapes which I am not allowed to alter, so re-embedding the audio channels is not an option.

    Greetings,
