by firewire reduced color sample rate to 4:2:0 (pal) and bit rate reduced to 19 Mbs, and imposition HDV codec (terrible)by component (analog or digital) you have color sample rate 4:2:2 (broadcast) full band of quality, and NO codec.
After converter you should be connect to NANO Flash.

this filter is more “transparency cap”, nothing change in picture, clean and clear
a have several cameras, and on jvc i have B+W,
its not more expensive and very good glass. -

first: you must use 2/3 to 1/3 ring adapter – (i don’t know about long lenses for 1/3 bayonet)
second: mount to camcorder – these lenses is very very heavy – you have especialy rod system – like to mount a mattebox
third: 2/3 lens in 1/3 camcorder – litte change attribute lenses, maybe lost sharp on borders
