  • no thats it – aside from, a new computer and an upgrade to ae7…

  • ps – not using any plugins in this one.
Could it be that i turned on a bunch more motion blur than the previous render???

  • Yeh i guess i just always think of rendering image sequences as a pain in the arse because of the rerendering process – rather knock it off in one hit if poss! But you’re right i prob should use them more often than i do.
And don’t worry 🙂 i’m not waiting for you to find a solution… i rendered on another computer which was fine, but would still like to figure out what that error was all about in case i get it again.

  • Thanks for the reply 🙂 I’ve tried a qt and had the same error. Rather not have to revert to image sequences unless i have to. Anyone have any other ideas???

Hi and thanks again Nolan… The illustrator preferences were already set that way, and yes definately not importing eps files, early illustrator versions or freehand. V odd isnt it.
If you have any other thoughts bout what it could be let me know 🙂

    Hi Nolan,

Ahh… had tried an .ai but not a previous version… that worked! Strange that the eps’s aren’t though isnt it. Could it be some setting in Cinema 4d?

    Thanks again 🙂

Thanks so much for the speedy reply!

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks again x

Thanks for the reply. Yes i think the colour precision thang had something to do with it as the animation needs to seemlessly lead into the interface. But i was actaully thinking a swf would be best if i can get the file size down enough?

Hi thanks for the reply 🙂

Yes its a photoshop comp with a stack of layers. I’ve just gone through them painstakingly and none of the original layers have been deleted or the names changed. Any other thoughts?

Is there any easy way to replace a file with heaps of layers like that, when its used throughout the project?

Or is there a way i can collect everything else but that file and just manually copy that one across?

    Thanks heaps x
