    Yo Steve,
I tried your suggestion, when I imported the color ILLUSTRATOR folder sequence and checked the box: Place in Alphabetical Order it imported ALL of my individual files as a sequence! Hip, hip, hoo-hah!
I was finally able to render an avi of the Illustrator files and it worked fairly well. It needs tweaking, but I’ve got something to show.
I appreciate your suggestions and continued attention. I got kind of sore from banging my head against the wall.
    Thanks again for your time.
    Phil

    Yeah Steve,
Even when I IMPORT MULTIPLE FILES and then check the box marked
IMPORT AS Photoshop/Illustrator SEQUENCE After Effects is only importing a single frame of my folder.
Very frustrating. I put in a lot of time and in the final stage of the process I can’t get any results. Is there an e-mail link for Aaron?
    Thanks again,
    Phil

    Hi Steve,
I’ll give that a shot even though in his tuorial he clearly instructs us to open the folder with the batch-rendered Illustrator files, click on any one of the jpegs and then import as footage and make sure that Illustrator/PDF/ EPS sequence box is checked ON.
I’ll try your suggestion as well. Thanks for the feedback.

I recently followed Aharon Rabinowitz’s most excellent AE/AI cartoonification tutorial and I almost pulled it off. The problems I encounterd were in lesson 3, bringning the batch rendered Illustrator files into After Effects.
When I tried to import/import multiple files of my color cartoon AI
files,a series of about 700 jpegs, it’s only importing a single frame.
I tried repeatedly but still can’t pull in my entire AI folder with all the jpegs.
    Any clues?

Cool! And I heard dradeke is hosting the event. Is this what’s known as vertical marketing?
Dennis, you’re supposed to use an alias when plugging your own event:)

I agree that the bundling of these upgrades is rather eccentric and very overpriced.
$800-$1,200 is too much for what they’re offering. Why didn’t they just make an upgrade of the standard video collection components for about $400 -$500? The original video collection was the price of these upgrades
It looks like the loyal Adobe customers are getting stuck paying for the acquisition of Macromedia.
Rather than spend this much on an upgrade, I’d consider swithcing to Vegas or maybe even Final Cut Pro.
I’m very disappointed. We can always vote with our wallets,by keeping them closed.
